☄ Important Notes For the canon-blind to Ensemble Stars, the game takes place in an all-boys school known as Yumenosaki Academy! However, Arashi has a tendency to refer to himself as nee-san/onee-chan (older sister), speaks in a rather feminine manner and also tends to use the female pronoun atashi in his speech in the game itself during his dialogues. When questioned on his gender in-game, Arashi commonly replies that such talk is "boorish" and that whether he is a boy or a girl should be a trivial matter. For consistency's sake, meta text in my tags in-game will use he/him pronouns, although there will still be liberal references to calling himself neesan/onee-chan in tags. Please feel free to have your characters be IC-ly confused over this, especially if they recognise Japanese as a foreign language! Arashi is also admittedly androgynous enough to pass off as either gender, actually, and your characters may note that. ☄ First Impressions ♚ VISUAL: Arashi is tall (175cm) with a model's build, slim, with a very prominent bone structure and androgynous features. Messy blond hair parted to the right, blue eyes and long lashes, and admittedly flawless skin touched up with makeup. Arashi is fond of jewellery too - three earrings (a stud in each and a small ring in the left ear) and a ring on his right index finger usually are the norm. May or may not be the most beautiful person in the room. ♚ FASHION: As a model, dressing classily and elegantly is par for the course. For slightly more formal events and if he needs to make an impression, favours a lot of stark monochromes with coloured accents to break up the monotony, like so. Alternatively, in more casual settings, is more likely to dress in brighter, more colourful items, and will opt for more casual touches to his outfits. ♚ DEMEANOUR: Confident and narcissistic. Self-absorbed would be a... more direct way of putting it. On first impression, in person, Arashi looks very much like an ice queen, haughty and cold, although he's a generally pleasant person to be around, if a little bit closed off. It's mostly a case of resting bitch-face. Among friends or people he's a little bit closer to, he's a little bit more relaxed and more prone to playful jibes at them, they however can come across as insults to those who aren't used to it. ♚ SOUND: Speaks in a very feminine tone with a tendency to use feminine pronouns such as "atashi" in speech. Here's a sample of lines from his Japanese voice actor. May or may not be overdramatic at times. In Recolle, English is his first language - it's almost unaccented, and he knows enough Japanese to be able to understand it, although when it comes to speaking it, it's accented enough and his pronunciation isn't perfect. He's likely to slip in English to substitute certain words that he can't quite remember offhand. ♚ SCENT: Hint of cologne or perfume, depending on his mood and dress for the day. Usually defaults to floral or sandalwood scents. ♚ MENTAL INFORMATION: Skilled in multiple areas, but not especially ambitious, Arashi is literally a jack of all trades and master of none, except perhaps modeling. ♚ MAGICAL INFORMATION: None whatsoever. Arashi is a perfectly mundane human with no abilities to speak of except to dazzle you on the runway and off the pages of a magazine ☆ ☄ OOC ♚ BACKTAGGING: Yes please! I am usually happy to backtag since I'm in an odd timezone and can't always be around to boomerang. I also work full time, so it may be days before I get to be able to clear all my tags in one go. If I've dropped something that you'd like to continue, please let me know and I'll get on it. ♚ FOURTHWALLING: I'd rather not in this instance! ♚ PHYSICAL AFFECTION: For close CR, Arashi is prone to more giving spontaneous acts of physical affection, and would be slightly more welcoming to receiving it as well. Otherwise, he tends to avoid it from people he's not close to. ♚ PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: I'm here for this if the opportunity arises but talk to me first, since Arashi is not really a brawler or a physical fighter and would most likely try to avoid physical confrontations if possible. ♚ RELATIONSHIPS: In Recolle, Arashi went through a bad breakup a few years ago and is therefore not really open to relationships at this point in time. Specifically, he's also regained memories of having Feelings for someone, so relationships might take a liiiiitle bit (no, a lot) of work to convince Arashi to date your character. I do, however, headcanon that since Arashi works full time in a high-pressure, high-stress environment, he would be open to a few no-strings-attached flings on the side, so please let me know if you would like to explore this option.
